HOCLOOP at GET 2025 in Rotterdam

HOCLOOP marked a strong presence at GET 2025, the 6th EAGE Global Energy Transition Conference & Exhibition, held in Rotterdam, Netherlands, from October 27 to October 31, 2025. As one of Europe’s leading energy transition events, GET 2025 brought together experts from geoscience, engineering, and energy sectors to accelerate progress toward a more sustainable energy future.

The Global Energy Transition Conference is recognized for connecting high-level scientific discussions with real-world energy projects. This year’s edition focused on offshore wind, geothermal energy, hydrogen, and CO₂ storage — sectors that are essential for achieving global climate and energy goals. GET 2025 successfully bridged regional innovation with international collaboration, fostering partnerships that support the transition to low-carbon energy systems.

HOCLOOP participated in GET 2025 by showcasing its expertise in closed-loop geothermal systems and advanced heat extraction technologies. Closed-loop geothermal solutions are gaining increasing attention due to their ability to provide reliable, low-emission heat without direct fluid exchange with the subsurface, making them suitable for a wide range of geological settings.

A key highlight of HOCLOOP’s presence was the contribution of Paweł Wojnarowski from AGH University of Krakow, who talked about “Model for heat extraction from salt structures by a closed-loop geothermal system.” His presentation provided valuable insights into innovative modeling approaches and demonstrated how closed-loop systems can unlock geothermal potential in complex geological environments. This research reflects the scientific foundation and technological innovation that make HOCLOOP unique in the geothermal sector.
