Hosted in Rotterdam, Netherlands, GET 2025, the 6th EAGE Global Energy Transition Conference & Exhibition, took place from October 27 to October 31, 2025. And the HOCLOOP was there sharing insights on closed-loop geothermal systems and heat extraction technologies.

The HOCLOOP project has completed the analysis of its full-scale pilot test at NORCE’s Ullrigg Test Centre. The results confirm that the closed-loop geothermal system delivers stable, predictable heat extraction even in low-permeability environments, strengthening its potential for long-term, sustainable geothermal energy production across Europe.
